My Story

I was born in Bulgaria and grew up in Eastern Europe until I moved to the UK in 2008 at the age of 8. This transition introduced me to a completely new world, allowing me to contrast my previous experiences with what lay ahead. Throughout my life, faced various obstacles, using my passion for Short Track Speed Skating as an escape. By 2017, I became the British Champion and broke over five British records, still holding two. I moved to Nottingham in 2020 to train with the National Team and aimed for an spot, but an injury in the summer of 2023 prevented me from achieving that dream.

After stepping away from being an athlete, I ventured into poetry, making my first performance in July 2023. I also enrolled in university to revisit my passion for design. My experiences with carpeting before moving to Nottingham fueled my desire to create, I felt I couldn't fully explore as an athlete.
